HOW THE SOLAR PHOTOVOLTAIC ELECTRICITY SYSTEM WORKS
- On a standard 2kWp installation, 16 panels of 130 watt are mounted on a slate or tile roof at the optimum angle and direction. Therefore a roof space of approximately 15m2 is required for this particular system. (Solar Fusion can install systems to meet any requirements)
- The Solar photovoltaic electricity panels are interlinked and are connected to an Fronius invertor, converting DC electricity into AC electricity.
- The solar photovoltaic electricity system is then wired into your existing fuse board and the electricity is either used directly within your home or fed back to the national grid. Therefore the system is not dependant on battery storage but has a direct link to your mains supplier.
