Time is running out for the Renewable Heat Incentive

Now, there’s a risk that we could be repeating ourselves on this article. It is for good reason.

The Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) is only going to be around for another few months. Time is running out to join the scheme. Don’t miss out.

The RHI is an incentive scheme which allows you to save money and generate an income by using renewable energy to heat your home. The scheme includes Solar energy products like the ones that we sell here at Solar Fusion.

Back in March we told you that the Government had announced yet another U-turn to its Renewable Energy Policy by withdrawing the RHI on Solar Thermal systems. (You can read the previous article here). This was a blow to the Solar Industry as it was only a few months before that they had dropped the Feed In tariff (FIT) on Solar PV systems.

So what happens if you are already in the scheme? When you joined the scheme, you were guaranteed income through the RHI for 7 years. There should be no change to this.

How do you get in the scheme? You need to join the scheme before it is withdrawn. There hasn’t yet been a definitive date, but it is believed to be end 2016/ early 2017. Either way, its only months away.

Solar Fusion products which qualify for the scheme are Hot Water and Dual 365 (Combined Hot Water and Heating).

Please take time to look at our product pages for more information, or please call us for a free consultation to discuss your options.

Don’t miss out. Once the scheme stops, you will be unable to benefit from the RHI.

It will soon be time to say ‘Goodbye RHI’.
